ATMRite FIELD GUIDE
Before you choose a location
An ATM needs more than spare floor space. Consider the experience from the entrance to the receipt.
Follow the customer route
Look for a visible, well-lit position that does not obstruct queues, exits, or accessible routes. Confirm installation details with the property owner and qualified installer.
Check the connections
Ask what power and communications are needed, who provides them, and what happens when connectivity fails. Keep the machine away from exposure that the equipment is not rated to handle.
Define the cash process
Identify who owns and loads the cash, how balances are checked, and who handles shortages. Do not assume a placement proposal includes replenishment.
Record the decision
Write down the location, responsibilities, expected access hours, and the questions still unanswered before approving installation.
Keep the conversation grounded.
ATM information and enquiry preparation. Equipment availability, placement approval, pricing, and service scope require a separate written agreement.
